American Rescue Plan Relief Bill Passed by Congress

Approved by the Senate last week, the American Rescue Plan passed in the House of Representatives today, sending the $1.9 trillion COVID relief package to President Biden’s desk for signature on Friday.

The bill includes a 100% subsidy on COBRA premiums from April through September of 2021.

BASIC is working through the legislation with our Compliance team to determine the impact on COBRA clients and qualified beneficiaries. Please watch for additional communications from us in the near future.
