BASIC: IRS Notice 2021-15 Opt Out

  • To understand the details on these changes and additional clarifications to the CAA provisions, please read the IRS Notice 2021-15. While these provisions are not mandated, they do allow for additional relief to your plan participants and eligible employees for 2021. If you do not wish to adopt these temporary provisions to your FSA plan(s), you may opt out filling out the below information and submitting to BASIC by April 30, 2021.
  • As the plan sponsor, we encourage you to communicate the applicable plan changes to your employees so they can understand what parts of the relief package that you are making available under your plan.
