The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) of 1993 is a United States labor law requiring covered employers (employers with 50 or more employees) to provide employees with job-protected, unpaid leave for qualified medical and family reasons. Employers who are administering FMLA in-house may not be aware of some of the risks that are involved with FMLA and how outsourcing FMLA can reduce these risks.

BASIC’s Vice President of Sales, Chris Eckert, will cover the top five common FMLA mistakes and why employers should outsource FMLA. He will also walk us through the life cycle of an FMLA claim, as it would be administrated for our FMLA clients. He will present the claim process including employee call off data, calculation of available leave, claim history and active approved claims, certification forms, and leave approval or denial. Join us for a discussion and demonstration of our proprietary leave management portal, part of BASIC’s FMLA and Leave Management Administration.

Due to the nature of this webinar, it is not eligible for CE Credits.
