The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) requires certain employers to provide former employees and dependents who lose group health benefits with an opportunity to continue group health insurance coverage for a limited period of time. COBRA is a complex set of laws and regulations with many traps for the unwary, and mistakes can be costly. Attorney Stephanie Grant will identify common COBRA compliance issues and will provide practical guidance for preventing common errors that could result in significant liability.

The first 60 minutes Stephanie Grant will present on the above topic. The remaining time will be devoted to Q&A and an insight into BASIC’s COBRA Administration.
